How To Solve "crop blazer too short, long blazer too long!" Problem.

On my previous Tiktok Video about flattering outfit, which is crop blazer and highwaist pants, some of you said a problem when wearing a crop blazer, especially for hijabers. the problem is the thigh, hip & butt area getting exposed when wearing a crop blazer with highwaist pants.

But when you are wearing regular blazer (long blazer), it made you look frumpy and swallowed and short.. especially when you are petite.

so how do we solve that?

by choosing the right bottoms.

for example, when wearing crop blazer, avoid wearing it with a straight/slim pants like these:

Whether it's straight pants, slim pants or skinny pants, the shape of the pants that doesn't flare out or wide-shape will put emphasize on your hips and thighs area.

So the safest way to wear crop blazer without worrying about your butt, hips and thighs are...

wear it with flare skirt, flowy skirt or circular skirt.

anything that's flowy and voluminous pair beautifully with crop blazer, makes your waist became the focal point of the outfit and create beautiful silhouette.

adds a bonus point if you wear high heels, but preferably ones that show some skin, like strappy heels I wore here.

now let's move on to regular blazer.

the opposite rule applies, when wearing regular length blazer (hip length or longer), avoid wearing it with voluminous bottom, like the previous flare skirt. you can see why below...

I think it's just too much. especially when you are petite <155 cm, wearing long outer with long flare skirt will swallow your proportion. you don't want to look be swallowed by fabric don't you?

what you have to do is balancing the long blazer with something more fitted.

here I swap the skirt with long fitted skirt and I wear fitted tanktop as the inner.

(you can also wear a fitted long dress here)

now the proportion is balanced and the blazer suddenly doesn't feel 'too long' anymore.

it's about balance, sweetheart.

bonus tip: pair with pointy heels and shoulder bag for an elegant look.

hope it helps and go rock that blazer you always want to wear!!!
